In A Few Days

Thirty days ago I was fine. Thirty days ago I had peace of mind. Something in me is out of synch;
I'm worried that I'm getting sick.
I've got my backup plan: I'll loosen up my grip and then I know in a few days I'll be okay.

But days and nights will still alternate and I will wait for what couldn't wait.
