A Prayer Upon Arrival

What color is the light of harmony underneath this darkened sky?
Burning bridges and broken hearts,
Suffocation has never felt this good
Why do pasts leave heart shaped holes in our chests?
I pray for this sky to open up to see a different view
Misspelled words never read so clear
There is a need for distance and separation from the truths held in our lives
Disfigured and mislead by what was held in the past
It hurts when wings emerge
The blood stains my back
When this all opens up will it wash the blood from beneath my eyes?
I pray for guidance to separate these thoughts
Forever has never felt this good to me

Quemar puentes y corazones rotos,
Suffocation nunca ha sentido tan bien
¿Por qué los pasados ??dejan agujeros en forma de corazón en el pecho?
Rezo por este cielo a abrir para ver una vista diferente
Las palabras mal escritas nunca leer tan claro
Hay una necesidad de distancia y la separación de las verdades sostenidas en nuestras vidas
Desfigurado y engañar por lo que se llevó a cabo en el pasado
Me duele cuando surgen las alas
Las manchas de sangre de mi espalda
Cuando todo esto se abre va a lavar la sangre de debajo de los ojos?
Rezo para orientar a separar estos pensamientos
Siempre nunca se ha sentido tan bien conmigo
